How does it work?
Research is conducted on a possible new drug that could help with autoimmune diseases. In autoimmune diseases, your immune system wrongly attacks well-functioning cells. Sometimes nerve cells get damaged. The new drug could prevent this damage. During the study, it will be examined what effects the substance has and how the substance is absorbed by the body.
We will contact you for a telephone screening.
To determine whether you are suitable for participation in this study, you will undergo a medical screening. This medical screening will take place up to 28 days before the first study day.
Part 2 of the study consists of a 18-day (17-night) stay at the clinic. Subsequently, you will return for three visits after your clinic stay. Two weeks after your clinic stay you will return for a follow-up visit.
Extra information :
To participate we will ask u which vaccinations you have had in the past. If you are not vaccinated against MEN ACWY, meningokokken B, pneumokokken and Hib but you would like to participate, then you will receive two vaccinations from us. you will receive the first vaccination about 39 days before participation and a second vaccination 14 days before the start of the study.

We measure your heart rate or take a blood sample every now and then, for example, but otherwise we don’t bother you much.
