Safety
What is our protocol?
Safety
The safety of volunteers is paramount to us, which is why we follow our protocol strictly and why it is monitored by the Medical Ethics Review Committee.

Studies
During a study, one or more scientific questions are answered. Predefined rules allow for these questions to be answered as reliably and ethically as possible.
These rules are set out in the so-called protocol of the study, which is submitted to a government-approved and independent Medical Ethics Review Committee for approval.
If this committee considers that the protocol sufficiently guarantees the safety of the volunteers and that the study is scientifically relevant, the protocol is approved.
Safety of volunteers
Of course, the safety of volunteers is paramount at QPS. There are strict controls on compliance with (inter)national laws and regulations, and the risk taken by a volunteer when participating in a study is assessed in advance. If you have any questions about the risks of participation, please refer to our FAQs.
1 Step 1: Register
Register as a volunteer for one of our clinical trials via our website.
2 Step 2: Medical screening
You undergo a medical examination. The medical examination will determine whether you are suitable for the drug research study.
3 Step 3: Participation
During your participation, you will stay at our research centre and return one or multiple times. It is also possible that you will be an alternate volunteer.
4 Step 4: Compensation
If you have completed all of the steps, you will receive your compensation within at least 4 weeks after the final screening.
